I met little Violet when she was just a teeny tiny baby and now I'm seeing her for the first time since then.  She just turned the big one!  Her mom wanted a simple and timeless session with purples included because of Violet's name of course!  I stopped by my favorite local flower shop and picked up some beautiful purple and white flowers.  I had just scored a small ladder earlier that week that I'd been on the hunt for the session and distressed it with some watered down white paint.  Yes, I'm that person who likes a good DIY.

We took family images right away before everyone was too hot and sticky since Violet was going to get messy anyway.  Violet's older sisters were super sweet and helpful as usual.  As we thought, Violet had a blast smashing into her cake and them splashing around in her bath afterwards.  I think it's such a fun thing to offer during the warmer weather to allow for your little one to not only clean themselves up for the car ride home but to also show how stinking cute they are splashing around in a cute little bath.
