Oh my goodness is she not stinking cute or what?  Lynnyn was the happiest little cake eating, super splasher ever.  I did a Christmas session for her mom, Chelsea, and she reached out to me to schedule her daughter's cake smash session to celebrate her 1st birthday.  She requested a boho theme with my client favorite teepee and wanted it to be feminine with a touch of color.  We settled on blue florals which is perfect to match Lynnyn's bright blue eyes and decided on baby's breath with lemon slices for the milk bath portion.  Thankfully it rained not too long before our session date so the grass would grow a bit and be a little greener at one of my favorite Colorado locations, Bear Creek Park.  

Prior to the session, Chelsea and I were going over outfits.  I am building my client closet and having a 1 year old selection is definitely something I love being able to offer my clients.  Chelsea was a little hesitant over one of the outfits she wanted to bring along so I opted to hunt for some new outfits and offered to go to Paris Vintage Marketplace.  Boy, did they not disappoint!  The gal at the register happened to mention that they had a clearance and I had never seen it before.  Well, holy jackpot!  I walked out of there with clothing I wish still fit my own girls for an absolute steal! If you haven't been you must check them out and they aren't just for clothes-there's all kinds of super neat farmhouse items you can purchase there.  

Anywho, we met up for our session and it went beautifully.  Lynnyn was super into her cake and made us laugh because she woudn't stop slapping her hands into the top of the cake.  Then, after she made a mess, it was milk bath time and man did she LOVE splashing the water.  She was such a happy baby the entire time and the sun peeked out toward the end to provide the most beautiful lighting.  And yes, if your child can stand while in the tub I will definitely try to get that adorable naked booty picture we are all in love with!
